Ex-Bayelsa Gov, Timipre Sylva dumps APC, gives reasons

Former politician of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Sylva, a erstwhile Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, made his determination known successful a resignation missive dated August 31, 2026 and addressed to the APC Chairman of Ward 4 successful Brass Local Government.

In the letter, the erstwhile governor, who described himself arsenic a founding subordinate of the APC, accused the enactment of abandoning its founding ideals.
