The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command has released the identities of 4 officers who were detained for allegedly extorting wealth from the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN.
DAILY POST earlier reported that the officers had abandoned their statutory work posts and proceeded to the Banex Plaza Junction, Wuse II, wherever they engaged successful unauthorised postulation work and allegedly extorted N52,000 from the ICPC president without knowing his identity.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, disclosed this portion addressing journalists successful Abuja connected Monday.
