The Commissioner of Police successful Cross River State, Ajo Geoffrey Ordue, has stressed that the combat against illicit drugs requires a coordinated approach.
He said this should impact intelligence-led operations, preventive interventions, nationalist enlightenment, assemblage engagement and effectual enforcement.
He stated this successful Calabar during his engagement with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Cross River State Command, led by the State Commander, CN Anteyi John
He reaffirmed the Police Command’s readiness to enactment the NDLEA successful disrupting transgression networks and protecting susceptible members of the nationalist from the consequences of illicit cause abuse.
The Commissioner emphasised the value of sustained inter-agency collaboration successful tackling illicit cause trafficking, drug-related crimes, cultism, trafficking and different transgression activities.
Ordue reiterated his Command’s committedness to deepening strategical partnerships with applicable agencies to safeguard lives and property, support nationalist safety, and make a unafraid situation for residents, visitors, and businesses crossed the state.
He called connected members of the nationalist to proceed supporting instrumentality enforcement agencies with timely and credible information, arsenic information is everybody’s business.
