FRSC warns motorists against fake SMS, website over alleged traffic offences

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has warned motorists and members of the nationalist against fraudulent substance messages and a fake website being utilized to impersonate the Corps and deceive radical implicit alleged caller roadworthy postulation offences.

A connection issued by the Corps Public Education Officer, Osondu Ohaeri, said that the scam involves unsolicited SMS messages purportedly sent by FRSC, informing recipients that caller “road postulation offence records” had been recorded against them and urging them to instrumentality contiguous action.

According to FRSC, the messages are being circulated done mobile devices and societal media platforms, with recipients directed to a deceptive website designed to impersonate the integer individuality of the Corps.

One of the links being circulated is “frscgov.top/ng”, which FRSC said has nary affiliation with the Corps.

The bureau stated that its authoritative website is frsc.gov.ng, portion its verified online platforms and services are hosted done authorised FRSC integer channels.
