Gov Namadi signs N63.48bn supplementary appropriation bill into law

Jigawa State governor, Umar Namadi, has signed a N63.478 cardinal supplementary appropriation measure into instrumentality for the authorities and its 27 section authorities councils.

The supplementary proviso raises the state’s 2026 fund from N901.841 cardinal to N948.210 billion, portion the combined budgets of the 27 section governments emergence from N288.848 cardinal to N305.957 billion.

The authorities constituent of the supplementary appropriation is N46.369 billion, portion N17.109 cardinal is allocated to the 27 section authorities councils.
