Imo: Police arrest criminal suspects, recover human skulls, arms, others 

The Nigeria Police, Imo State Command said it has arrested 184 suspects during large operations wrong the state, rescued 3 kidnapped victims, recovered 2 quality skulls, AK-47 rifles and different incriminating items.

The State Police Commissioner, Audu Garba Bosso made the disclosure astatine the Command’s Headquarters successful Owerri aft parading immoderate of the suspects.

Bosso narrated that immoderate of the suspects were arrested in abstracted intelligence-led operations for transgression offences bordering connected kidnapping, terrorism, equipped robbery, cultism, murder, defilement, rape, intersexual battle and different transgression activities.

According to him, successful the people of the operations, the Command recovered 2 AK-47 rifles, eleven AK-47 magazines, 3 M16 firearm magazines, 5 locally made double-barrel.

Other arms recovered, see cut-to-size guns, 4 locally made pistols, a full of 382 rounds of assorted ammunition comprising 138 rounds of AK-47 ammunition 148 rounds of M16 firearm ammunition, 76 rounds of 9mm Beretta pistol ammunition, and 20 rounds of General Purpose Machine Gun, GPMG.
