Itsekiris in Delta vow to resist alleged plot by Ondo govt to annex their communities

Leaders of Itsekiri communities person rejected an alleged crippled by the Ondo State Government to forcefully annex their ancestral onshore into Ilaje Local Government Area successful Ondo State.

They raised the alarm during a peaceful protestation successful their communities, saying it was to avert a breakdown of instrumentality and bid successful the area.

The protesters from the 7 communities: Ebokiti, Ekekporo, Ugbege, Eketie, Ototo, Ewoleba and Aja-Ebighan successful Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, displayed assorted placards with inscriptions specified as, “Warri North LGA Wants Your Intervention”, “This is Imperialism”, and “We Don’t Want Local Council Area successful Ondo State”, among others.
