Kano 2027: INEC drops NDC governorship candidate, Gwarzo from final list

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has excluded the New Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, governorship campaigner successful Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, from its last database of candidates for the 2027 governorship election.

Gwarzo’s sanction was missing from the database released by the commission, which features 17 candidates from antithetic governmental parties.

DAILY POST reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and African Democratic Congress (ADC) are among the parties represented connected the list.

The candidates listed by INEC see Gashash Mukhtar of Party A; Haruna Abdullahi of the Action Alliance (AA); Sharif Abba of the African Action Congress (AAC); Ibrahim Ali Amin of the African Democratic Congress (ADC); and Muhammad Abdullahi of the Action Democratic Party (ADP).

Others are Yusuf Abba Kabir of the All Progressives Congress (APC); Tijjani Sukairaju Tijjani of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA); Muhammad Bashir Galadanchi of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM); Tukur Aliyu Malam of the Action Peoples Party (APP); and Ahmad Furera of the Boot Party (BP).
