Kano ADC faction petitions police over leadership dispute

The Kano State Transition Committee, led by Hon. Musa Shu’aibu Ungogo, submitted a petition to the Kano State Police Command connected July 8.

The committee accused Hajiya Najaatu Muhammed of trying to divided the enactment by announcing a caretaker committee for the authorities chapter.

The petition came aft Najaatu, who identified herself arsenic the ADC Deputy National Chairman (North-West), announced connected Monday that the Kano State enforcement committee had been dissolved and replaced with a caretaker committee led by Alhaji Umar Bala.

However, the Kano faction rejected the decision, saying it violated the party’s constitution and was not approved by the party’s authorised leadership.
