The Kano State House of Assembly has passed the Kano State Education Bill 2026 and the Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Dambatta Amendment Bill 2026 into law.

The 2 bills were passed during Monday’s plenary, presided implicit by the Speaker of the House, Jibril Ismail Falgore.

Presenting the Kano State Education Bill 2026, the Majority Leader and subordinate representing Dala Constituency, Lawan Husaini, said the authorities repeals the state’s long-standing Education Law of 1964 and provides a much broad ineligible model for the sustainable improvement of education.
