Kano police complete security arrangements for Dawakin Kudu by-election

The Kano State Police Command says information arrangements person been completed for the Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area State Constituency by-election scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026.

The Inter-Agency Consultative Committee connected Election Security (ICCES) successful Kano State held a last strategical gathering on Tuesday at the bureau of its Co-Chairman, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori.

The gathering reviewed the information and logistical arrangements for the election, including plans to support voters, electoral officials, predetermination materials and different stakeholders.

Speaking astatine the meeting, Bakori said the constabulary and different information agencies were afloat prepared for the election.

“All indispensable information arrangements person been concluded successful liaison with different ICCES subordinate agencies. We person deployed capable personnel, quality assets, and operational resources to screen each polling units, collation centers, and strategical locations wrong Dawakin Kudu LGA,” helium said.
