Kebbi Assembly receives 11 executive bills for scrutiny, passage

Kebbi State House of Assembly has received 11 enforcement bills from Governor Nasir Idris.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Salihu Maikasuwa Dangoje announced the receipt of the bills during Wednesday’s plenary session.

The bills screen areas, including onshore administration, nationalist procurement, tertiary education, transgression law, coagulated minerals, taxation, scholarships and the medication of justice.

They see the Kebbi State Geographic Information Services Agency (KEBGIS) Amendment Bill 2024, the Price Intelligence and Public Procurement Bureau (Amendment) Bill 2025, and bills seeking amendments to the laws governing Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero, and Kauran Gwandu College of Nursing and Midwifery Sciences, Ambursa.

Others are the Kebbi State College of Nursing Sciences, Birnin Kebbi Amendment Bill 2025; Kebbi State Penal Code (Amendment) Bill 2025; Kebbi State Solid Minerals Development Agency Bill 2025; and the Kebbi State Harmonized Taxes and Levies (Approval List for Collections) Bill 2025.
