Lagos driver remanded over alleged abduction, defilement of 14-year-old

An Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday ordered the remand of a 34-year-old driver, Segun Falola, astatine the Kirikiri Correctional Centre implicit the alleged abduction and defilement of a 14-year-old girl.

The Chief Magistrate, C.M. Kushanu, did not instrumentality Falola’s plea aft helium was brought earlier the tribunal connected charges bordering connected abduction and defilement.

Kushanu ordered that the suspect beryllium remanded astatine the correctional installation until September 30, pending ineligible proposal from the Director of Public Prosecutions, DPP.

The prosecutor, Adegoke Ademigbuji, told the tribunal that the alleged offences occurred betwixt April 3 and April 24 successful the Alakuko country of Lagos State.

Ademigbuji alleged that Falola abducted the teenage miss portion she was travelling from Alakuko to Agege.

He further alleged that the suspect lured the miss into a house, wherever helium sexually assaulted her.
