Marcus Rashford, a striker for Manchester United, is questionable for Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Newcastle at Wembley, according to Erik ten Hag.

Rashford has been Man Utd’s standout player since the World Cup, scoring 13 goals in 15 appearances across all competitions before limping off at Old Trafford in Thursday’s Europa League play-off victory over Barcelona.
But as he attempts to end Man Utd’s six-year trophy drought, Ten Hag must now wait in suspense to learn the health of his top scorer.

Prior to Sunday’s game, Ten Hag stated, “I don’t know [if Rashford will be available.

“Now that players are arriving, we must conduct medical examinations. Though it was so soon after the game that you can’t always say, we did some yesterday. You must wait for a definitive medical diagnosis.”
Anthony Martial will not play against Newcastle on Sunday.
In their previous meeting this season, Newcastle frustrated Manchester United by holding them to a scoreless draw at Old Trafford.
