The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has fixed details of the incidental involving an Enugu Air craft astatine Benin Airport successful Edo State on Thursday.
The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection astatine the NCAA, Michael Achimugu, confirmed exclusively to DAILY POST that the Enugu Air craft was progressive successful a runway excursion astatine Benin Airport.
According to Achimugu, the craft skidded disconnected the runway aft landing, but each passengers and unit members escaped unhurt.
“They had a runway excursion. Yes, determination was this skid disconnected the runway aft landing. Everybody is safe. There was nary wounded to immoderate passenger. All passengers came out. Passengers and unit came retired safe,” helium said.
Similarly, a Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, official, who preferred anonymity, besides confirmed to DAILY POST that it was a runway excursion.
