The Nigerian Government has destroyed 2,809 illicit, decommissioned and unserviceable tiny arms and airy weapons, reaffirming its resoluteness to stem the proliferation of amerciable weapons fuelling insecurity crossed the country.

The National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons, NCCSALW, carried retired the demolition successful Abuja connected Thursday, bringing the cumulative fig of weapons destroyed by the centre to 19,000.
