Nigerian Navy hands over 9 suspected stowaways to Immigration

The Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Beecroft, Friday, transferred 9 suspected stowaways, who were rescued from the merchant vas MT EVGENIA, to the Nigeria Immigration Service.

A stowaway is an idiosyncratic who hides aboard a vas with the purpose of travelling illegally to different state without permission.

A connection issued by the Commander, Commodore A. Adams-Aliu, indicated that the handover was portion of ongoing collaborative efforts among information agencies to combat amerciable migration and amended maritime information and security.
