NPC chair, Wushishi dies eight months after assuming office

The Chairman of the National Population Commission, NPC, Dr Aminu Yusuf Wushishi, is dead.

Wushishi, who hailed from Niger State, died on Friday, throwing his associates and governmental circles into mourning.

His Special Adviser connected Media, Stanley Nwosu, confirmed the death.

“Yes, it is true. The NPC president died aft a little illness,” Nwosu said.

Wushishi, a erstwhile Secretary of the Niger State section of the Peoples Democratic Party, was said to person fallen sick soon earlier his death.
