Serie A league leader, Napoli, has placed a €140m price tag (about N74 billion) on Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen amid transfer links.

According to earlier reports by Soccernet.ng, three Premier League clubs—Manchester United, Newcastle, and Arsenal—are apparently very interested in signing the Nigerian youngster in the summer.

The English Premier League teams are now battling for the championship, and should all four teams place in the top four, they would be looking to strengthen their squads before the 2023–24 Champions League season.

Osimhen, who has a deal with the Neapolitans through 2025, has drawn interest from rival teams thanks to his performances.

The striker, however, has a high price because the Neapolitans insisted that Osimhen would not leave the squad for anything less.

When the summer transfer window opens, the Nigerian international who is dedicated to helping his team win the Scudetto will have to make a difficult decision.

The Super Eagles attacker joined the Italian squad in 2020 for a fee of about €75 million; his estimated market value is about €70 million. If the agreement is finally effective with the top teams, the Serie A heavyweights stand to benefit handsomely.
