Osun Decides: INEC uploads over 80 per cent of election results to IReV

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has uploaded implicit 80 per cent of the results from the Osun State governorship predetermination to its Results Viewing Portal, IReV.

A cheque by DAILY POST astatine precisely 7.53pm showed that the committee was keeping to its earlier committedness to upload results from the predetermination to the portal.

Voters crossed Osun State connected Saturday formed their ballots to elite a caller politician for a four-year term.

A full of 15 governmental parties were connected the ballot, with incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke seeking re-election connected the level of the Accord Party.

Two candidates, Adesina Adeyemi-Doro of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and Simon Adewale of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, had announced their withdrawal from the election.

While Adeyemi-Doro endorsed the campaigner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Oyebamiji, Adewale declared enactment for Adeleke. However, some APGA and APM stay connected the ballot.

DAILY POST had earlier reported that Adeleke secured triumph astatine his polling unit, with the Accord Party winning Polling Unit 026, Ward 5, successful Osogbo Local Government Area.
