Oyo 2027: INEC releases names of 16 guber candidates

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has released the names of 16 governorship candidates contesting the forthcoming predetermination successful Oyo State.

The 16 names were contained successful the last database of governorship candidates contesting the 2027 predetermination successful the state, released by the commission.

The database included Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the campaigner of the All Progressives Congress (APC); Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi, the campaigner of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM); Chief Adegboyega Adegoke, the campaigner of the Action Democratic Congress (ADC); Mr Saheed Oladele, the campaigner of the African Action Congress (AAC); and Alhaji Oriyomi Hazmat, the campaigner of Accord.

Others are Mr Kunle Olatunji, the campaigner of the Action Democratic Party (ADP); Taiwo Otegbeye, the campaigner of the National Democratic Party (NDP); Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi, the campaigner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); Yinusa Ayandoye, the campaigner of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP); and Azzan Olanrewaju, the campaigner of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
