Police arrest officers in viral video threatening to slap, detain motorist if he’s Igbo

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the apprehension of officers captured successful a viral video attempting to extort wealth from a motorist on Lagos –Benin Expressway.

In the video, 1 of the officers said helium would person slapped and detained the motorist if helium was Igbo.

The circulating footage of the incidental had sparked wide choler crossed the state with respective Nigerians calling for the apprehension and prosecution of the officers.

Addressing journalists connected the incidental connected Friday, the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abayomi Jimoh, said the erring unit person been identified and arrested.
