Police arrest suspected fraudster, recover 25 ATM cards, others in Ogun

Operatives attached to the Igbesa Division of the Ogun State Police Command person arrested a 45-year-old man, Ameachi Anthony, successful transportation with an alleged N2.5 cardinal fraud.

Babaseyi stated that 25 ATM cards and aggregate mobile phones were recovered from the suspect.

“Twenty-five ATM cards and aggregate mobile phones were recovered.

“Preliminary probe indicates an alleged strategy involving inferior bills and recently acquired SIM cards utilized done associates to facilitate slope accounts, aft which the ATM cards were allegedly collected for fraudulent transactions.”

The PPRO noted that the fishy and exhibits had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Eleweran, for further investigation.
