Protest rocks Defence Ministry over pension delay[VIDEO]

A protestation rocked the Ministry of Defence successful Abuja on Wednesday as subject retirees demanded the implementation of consequential adjustments to their pensions.

Armed soldiers reportedly blocked the ex-servicemen from protesting astatine the Defence Ministry implicit the non-implementation of the pension adjustments.

Speaking astatine the protestation ground, 1 of the ex-servicemen said President Bola Tinubu approved a wage summation for subject and paramilitary unit successful November past year, but the accommodation was yet to beryllium implemented.
