Rivers Assembly summons state Accountant Gen, Education Commissioner, PAMO University officials

The Rivers State House of Assembly has summoned the absorption of PAMO University of Medical Sciences, the authorities Accountant General, the Commissioner for Education, the Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Education, and different officials to look earlier the House.

The Assembly says the summons is issued pursuant to Sections 128 and 129 of the Nigerian Constitution.

Those summoned are expected to look earlier an Ad-hoc Committee of the House connected September 16.

Speaker of the Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, cautioned those invited against failing to honour the summons.

The improvement comes weeks aft the House rejected the projected N6 cardinal allocation to PAMO University successful the state’s 2026 budget.
