Sango-Ota-Joju flooding: Ado-Odo/Ota Council, Ogun Govt inspect corridor

The Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Council has said it volition collaborate with applicable authorities authorities agencies and stakeholders to code flooding and different infrastructure challenges affecting residents successful the area.

The Chairman of the council, Lawal Wasiu, stated this during a method inspection of the flood-prone Sango-Ota–Joju corridor connected the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

Lawal, who was accompanied by the Councillor representing Sango Ward, Joel Okeodebija, said the recurring flooding on the axis has go a large interest for residents, commuters and businesses.

He noted that the corridor, which is portion of the engaged Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, often experiences flooding during dense rainfall, starring to disruption of vehicular question and threats to adjoining communities.
