SEDC mandate will address devastating effects civil war - Reps

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee connected South-East Development Commission, SEDC, Hon. Chris Nkwonta has said that the commission's mandate volition supply an accidental to code the devastating effects of the civilian war, decades of neglect and infrastructural shortage crossed the 5 states of the region.

The lawmaker disclosed this during an oversight sojourn by members of his committee to the commission.

He expressed optimism that the constitution of the SEDC office would supply the organization model needed to construe "the historical doctrine of the Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation formulated aft the Nigerian Civil War into applicable improvement programmes for the South-East region".
