The Senate on Wednesday confirmed the assignment of Dr Zainab Marwa arsenic a subordinate of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, representing North-East geo-political zone.
Marwa’s confirmation followed the presumption and adoption of the study of Committee connected NDDC by Senator Patrick Ndubueze, APC-Imo, astatine plenary on Wednesday.
Presenting the report, Ndubueze said President Bola Tinubu had forwarded Marwa’s information to the Senate, wherever it was referred to the committee for legislative action.
He said that the committee conducted an unfastened screening of the nominee to measure her competence, integrity, acquisition and preparedness for the position.
The legislator said that the committee recovered Marwa qualified for the assignment aft reviewing her credentials and each applicable documents.
