Suspect flees as Police recover gun, live cartridges in Ogun

Men of the Ogun Police Command person recovered a single-barrel agelong weapon and six unrecorded cartridges arsenic the fishy fled during a stop-and-search operation.

The incidental occurred erstwhile operatives of Aiyetoro Area Command, were carrying retired a halt and hunt cognition on the Ayetoro–Olodo Road axis.

The Police Spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, told DAILY POST connected Tuesday that the yet-to-be-identified antheral suspect, riding an unregistered Bajaj Boxer motorcycle, sighted the operatives from a region and instantly fled.

“In an effort to evade arrest, the fishy reportedly threw a single-barrel agelong weapon on with six unrecorded cartridges into a adjacent bush earlier escaping connected the motorcycle,” helium said.
