The Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Olufemi Oluyede, has said the Nigerian Army is strengthening its concern successful technology, quality and modern combat instrumentality to code the country’s evolving information challenges.

Oluyede made the remarks on Monday at the expansive finale of the 2026 Nigerian Army Day Celebration, NADCEL, and the African Land Forces Forum successful Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He said the changing quality of information threats requires a subject that is professionally trained and equipped with modern technologies susceptible of responding to modern warfare.

According to the Army Chief, the Nigerian Army has continued to accommodate its operational strategies by modernising its capabilities and strengthening collaboration with different information agencies.

He noted that sustained subject operations, improved quality gathering and the deployment of modern subject assets had enhanced the Army’s efforts against insurgency, terrorism, banditry and different information threats.

Oluyede said quality and exertion person go cardinal to the Army’s operations, enabling troops to place threats much accurately, respond swiftly and behaviour operations with greater precision.
