The Federal Ministry of Livestock Development has been established, according to President Bola Tinubu.

When he opened the Presidential Committee on Livestock Reforms on Tuesday in the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja, the President revealed this.

The President will preside over the Committee, with Attahiru Jega, a former head of the Independent National Electoral Commission (EFCC), serving as deputy chairman.

It is anticipated that the Committee would make suggestions meant to promote a harmonious coexistence between farmers and herders while guaranteeing the safety and financial security of every Nigerian.
