Tuesday in Lagos is the final rally for the APC presidential campaign.
In Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial center, the All Progressives Congress (APC) will host its final presidential campaign rally on Tuesday.
The Publicity Secretary of the APC Lagos State Chapter, Hon. Seye Oladejo, made the announcement in a statement.
President Muhammadu Buhari, who would preside over the APC Presidential Campaign Council, is anticipated to attend the rally at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere (PCC).
APC National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu, PCC Director General and Governor of Plateau State Simon Lalong, all APC State Governors, National Assembly members, and other prominent party figures are also anticipated.
“The event will culminate the campaign, which has seen Asiwaju travel throughout the entire country selling his “Renewed Hope” manifesto, to a fitting conclusion,” the statement said.
“The event has been put together to highlight the traditional hospitality of Lagosians and underscore the immense support enjoyed by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu not just as the founder of modern Lagos but also to honour him as the hero of our nascent democracy,” said the event’s organizer.
The state government, according to the Lagos APC spokesman, has put in place strong measures to guarantee that citizens’ routine everyday activities are not interfered with.
He claims that in order to ensure a smooth event, extra attention has been paid to the security and safety of participants and supporters.
