Governor Uba Sani has fulfilled a 30-year-old committedness made to the 1996 Atlanta Olympic golden medallists by giving them plots of onshore and naming streets aft 3 of them who are from Kaduna State.

Speaking to newsmen aft inspecting the ongoing Ahmadu Bello Stadium task connected Tuesday, Daniel Amokachi recalled that successful 1996, erstwhile the Dream Team won the Olympic golden medal, the national and authorities governments made promises that were ne'er redeemed.

He disclosed that Governor Uba Sani had fixed him, Garba Lawal and Emmanuel Babayaro plots of onshore 30 years aft they were promised, adding that helium besides directed that streets should beryllium named aft those of them who were not truthful immortalised.

Amokachi, who is simply a renowned shot manager and erstwhile nonrecreational player, said they lacked the words to convey the politician for his benignant gestures and his committedness to duly reward seasoned footballers and coaches during their lifetimes.
