‘Uba Sani is committed to our welfare’ – Kaduna pensioners

Kaduna State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners has expressed gratitude to Governor Uba Sani for   releasing N3.659 cardinal for the outgo of gratuity and decease benefits.

In a missive signed by Aboman Ladan and Alhassan Balarabe Musa, Chairman and Secretary respectively, the national noted that the Governor’s ‘’commitment to the payment and dignity of those who served Kaduna State with their productive years volition ne'er beryllium forgotten.’’

The letter, which was dated 23rd September, 2026, recalled that the latest merchandise of entitlements ‘’covering 1,339 beneficiaries nether the Defined Benefit Scheme(DBS) and Contributory Pension Scheme(CPS) has brought joyousness and alleviation to galore homes.’’

‘’We besides admit and commend Your Excellency for the cumulative outgo of N21.455 cardinal to 9,683 beneficiaries since assuming bureau successful May 2023,’’ the national noted.

According to the missive which has  notation fig NUP/KDS/HQ/VOL.2/29, the Governor’s committedness to the outgo of pension ‘’clearly demonstrates that indeed, arsenic you said, ‘pension outgo is not a favour. It is an obligation.’’’
