WAEC releases 2026 results, announces candidates’ performance

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), on Wednesday, released the results of the 2026 Computer-Based WASSCE for School Candidates, with 1,200,514 candidates, representing 61.54%, obtaining credits and supra successful a minimum of 5 subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

Announcing the results successful Lagos, Head of the WAEC Nigeria National Office, Dr. Amos Josiah Dangut, said this represents a 1.42% alteration compared to 2025.
