WAFU-B: NFF appeals CAF cancellation of Edo Queens’ victory over Ampem Darkoa

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has appealed against the determination of the Confederation of African Football, CAF, to cancel Edo Queens’ FC triumph implicit Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana successful the WAFU-B competition.

DAILY POST reports that the missive of appeal, signed by Emmanuel Edem Ikpeme, Deputy General Secretary of the NFF, dated September 28, 2026, was addressed to the President of the CAF Appeals Board successful Egypt.

The missive was titled, ‘Re: Forwarding missive successful respect of the entreaty regarding WAFU Zone B qualifying tourney for the CAF Women’s Champions League 2026 last lucifer betwixt Edo Queens FC and Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC’.
