Zamfara 2027: Gov Lawal, 14 governorship candidates sign peace accord

Zamfara State governor, Dauda Lawal and 14 different governorship candidates person signed a bid accord up of the 2027 wide elections.

The candidates made the committedness during a Peace Accord and Election Security Summit organised by the Zamfara State Police Command successful Gusau.

The accord commits the candidates to promoting peaceful behaviour and respecting electoral processes before, during and aft the elections.

The Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Mohammed Bello Daga, urged the candidates to debar actions that could disrupt the electoral process.

He warned that governmental aspirants and enactment members who violated the instrumentality would look prosecution.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police successful the state, Kabir Abdul Randawa, besides assured governmental parties and residents of the command’s committedness to providing information for governmental activities.

He urged candidates and governmental parties to shun intimidation, unit and different actions susceptible of threatening bid successful the state.
