Haaland and Odegaard are PFA Player of the Year Award nominees.

Erling Haaland of Manchester City, who is nominated alongside teammates Phil Foden and Rodri, is vying for the PFA Player of the Year title for the second time in a row.

With 38 goals in all competitions, Haaland had yet another outstanding season as City won the Premier League for an unprecedented fourth time in a row.

The PFA award went to the Norway star following City’s 2022–2023 treble-winning campaign.

In addition to playing a major role in City’s midfield during their most recent Premier League victory, Rodri also assisted Spain in winning Euro 2024.

The previous season, England’s playmaker Foden scored 27 goals for Pep Guardiola’s team.

The shortlist for the award also includes Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa, Martin Odegaard of Arsenal, and Cole Palmer of Chelsea.

A player from either Chelsea or City will win the women’s award.

The shortlist includes Yui Hasegawa, Lauren Hemp, and Khadija Shaw in addition to Chelsea’s Niamh Charles, Erin Cuthbert, and Lauren James.
