Paris Saint-Germain said on Wednesday that the French Football League (LFP) has volunteered to mediate the issue between the striker and the team regarding unpaid pay and incentives.

According to Mbappe, PSG owes him 55 million euros, or $60.6 million, for which the 25-year-old committed to waive in August 2023.

The captain of France has asked for the whole, which comprises his three months of pay that are left, his signing bonus that he was hoping to get in February, and a “ethical bonus” for the same period.

Following Mbappe’s case being sent to the LFP’s legal committee, which he joined this summer, the attorneys for both parties convened early on Wednesday.

The league then offered to act as a mediator.

“Paris Saint-Germain expressed great satisfaction with the two-hour hearing held before the commission today.”

“The Club recalled that the player, who has been granted exceptional benefits by the Club throughout seven wonderful years in Paris, has made it plain on numerous occasions that he must honor his private and public duties.

“The commission insisted on mediation between the parties, which Paris Saint-Germain has been requesting for several months, in light of the club’s oral and written reasons.
