JUST IN: Buhari flies into Lagos to begin a project.
The Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration’s major projects are being inaugurated in Lagos State by President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.).
These initiatives include, among others, the 18.75-kilometer six-lane rigid-pavement Eleko Junction to Epe Expressway, the Lekki Deep Sea Port, the Imota Rice Mill, the Blue Rail line, and others.
On Monday at 3:33 PM, Buhari touched down at the Murtala Muhammad Airport.
Governors of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, and Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, are also in attendance, along with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.
Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the governor of Ekiti State, the Service Chiefs, and members of the Lagos State Executive Council are also present.
