Atiku defeats Obi and Tinubu in Tambuwal’s voting district.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president, triumphed in the voting district of Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

Results from polling unit 033, located at the Government Girls Day Secondary School in Tambuwal, showed that Atiku received 250 votes while Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), received 44.

Similar results were seen in the elections for the House of Representatives and the Senate, when the PDP won with 252 and 247 votes, respectively, to the APC’s 45 and 48.

The Director General of the Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, Tambuwal, is running for the Sokoto-South Senate seat.
