DMCA Policy

At Daily Updates (owned and operated by Adedeji Innovations Ltd), we are committed to protecting intellectual property rights and complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable international copyright laws.

This DMCA Policy explains the procedures we follow when we receive a notice of copyright infringement and how affected users may respond with a counter-notice if they believe the material was removed in error.

1. DMCA Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been reproduced, published, or distributed on Daily Updates without authorization, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice. Your notice must be in writing and include the following details as required by the DMCA:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are involved, a representative list.

3. Identification of the material alleged to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., URL link).

4. Information sufficient for us to contact you, such as your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

5. A statement that you, in good faith, believe that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Please note: Notices that fail to include all required details may not be processed.

3. Action Taken by Daily Updates

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

• Promptly acknowledge receipt of the complaint.

• Remove or disable access to the infringing material.

• Notify the user or contributor responsible for the content.

• Provide the alleged infringer with information on how to submit a counter-notice.

• Take further action where appropriate, including suspending or banning repeat offenders.

4. DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, or you have the legal right to use the material, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notification. Your counter-notice must contain the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Identification of the material removed and its previous location.

3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.

4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

5. Consent to the jurisdiction of a court located in your local region, and agreement to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.

If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the removed content unless the complainant files legal action within a reasonable period.

5. Repeat Infringement Policy

Daily Updates has a zero-tolerance policy for repeat infringers. Accounts of users who repeatedly violate copyright laws will be terminated permanently.

6. Disclaimer

Daily Updates acts as a service provider and is not responsible for user-submitted or third-party content. We operate under the safe harbor provisions of the DMCA, which protect service providers from liability as long as we respond appropriately to valid takedown notices.
