2023 Election
Atiku encourages INEC to remain steadfast and defy pressure.
Chief Dele Momodu, the Director of Strategic Communications for the Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on behalf of the council to resist the excessive pressure being applied to it by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in an effort to thwart the freely expressed will of Nigerians on Saturday.
During a current media briefing in Abuja, Momodu made the request.
The Atiku Campaign praised INEC for having so far held its own.
It was stated that the APC could not compile enough votes to declare victory since it had suffered deadly injuries in the North-West, North-East, and South-East.
The PDP is performing well overall, he said, with the exception of the South-East, where the Labour Party is making a clean sweep.
He asserts that only Atiku Abubakar of the PDP has achieved the criterion of receiving 25% of the vote in 25 states across geopolitical zones and is still certain of winning.
